Internal Climbing Saw
The internal climbing saw is a development from MB. It is a variant of the Wall Saw and is used for sawing off rings on tall tubular structures made of reinforced concrete with smaller inner diameters ranging from 3.5 m to 7 m and wall thicknesses up to 350 mm. The internal climbing saw is mounted and guided on a lattice mast that is erected inside the structure with a 360-degree continuously rotating platform. On this platform, two movable arms are located exactly opposite each other, with a saw blade mounted on each end. During sawing, both saw blades plunge into the structural element at the same time, so that no bending moment acts on the lattice tower, as the forces cancel each other out. The saw cut is made by rotating the platform. The height of the sawed-off rings depends on the crane capacity. The lattice tower will be dismantled according to the progress of demolition.
